Campaigning for the ‘Polantas Menyapa’ Program, the Ciko Polres Traffic Unit Encourages the Public to Think Smartly About Ranmor Administration
progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Cirebon City (Ciko) Polres Traffic Unit is currently actively promoting the ‘Polantas Menyapa’. This program is the latest educational communication program launched by the Indonesian Polri Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri) for the public. The program emphasizes the pattern and method of educational communication regarding the vital importance of motor vehicle ownership, including ownership of vehicle registration certificates (BPKB), vehicle registration certificates (STNK), and driver’s licenses (SIM).
It goes beyond ownership. The communication also covers procedures for managing ranmor administration, from paying vehicle taxes, renewing and obtaining driver’s licenses SIMs, to changing vehicle ownership.
On one occasion, the Head of the Ciko Polres Traffic Unit, AKP Ridwan Sandhi Maulana, S.H., M.M., CPHR, provided a detailed explanation of this program. He stated, that the “Polantas Menyapa” program was created as another form of the Traffic Police’s excellent service to the public. As a form of excellent service, all Traffic Police personnel implementing this program are obligated to always appear fun, humble, and full of smiles to the public.
With such performance, each officer is expected to be a role model to protect, nurture, and educate the community. To become a police officer with a perfect appearance and a brilliant brain for the community. Cool, right, bro.
To continue this, education is also being conducted so that the public can better understand the official procedures for processing vehicle documents.
“We have an obligation to inform and raise public awareness that the entire process of managing vehicle administration is now easy and streamlined. Everything can be done independently without the help of third parties or brokers. So, to the brokers, just say go away. Don’t come near me again,” asserted AKP Ridwan.

He explained, that the vehicle tax payment process is one example of the convenience he meant. Vehicle tax payments now have two processing options. It can be done online or offline by visiting the Samsat office. Paying ranmor taxes, said AKP Ridwan, is actually the easiest and quickest administrative process for ranmor. However, many people still seem to neglect this matter.
“Some time ago, i received news from a friend that a Chevrolet car owned by a company had expired for eight years and was only now being processed. This is clear evidence that even very simple matters are still neglected by many people. Through the ‘Polantas Menyapa’ program, we want to change this and raise public awareness that this practice is wrong and must be corrected,” AKP Ridwan explained further.
He also discussed the issue of SIM, both for new and renewals. To issue a new SIM, AKP Ridwan continued, applicants must fulfill requirements such as an ID card (KTP), a health certificate, and pass the theory and practical exams. Those wishing to renew their SIMs must complete the process before the expiration date. To do this, applicants simply need to bring their ID card, old SIM, and health test results.
“All the processes explained above can be completed in person at the official service office. Never be tempted by fast services from unscrupulous individuals or brokers, as this will only increase costs. Just come directly because the process is guaranteed, safe, and on time,” AKP Ridwan reiterated.
AKP Ridwan also stated that as a knowledge communication program, the ‘Polantas Menyapa’. Program must be acknowledged as having many positive benefits for the Ciko Polres Traffic Unit. Besides being a vehicle for closer contact with the community, this program also plays a crucial role in raising public awareness regarding the vitality of orderly ranmor administration.
The Ciko PolresTraffic Unit also has high hopes for the Ciko community to maintain an open mind and a high level of awareness regarding motor vehicle administration. Because with this heightened awareness, the public’s patterns, attitudes, behaviors, and thoughts regarding road safety and comfort will automatically be maintained. Hopefully, this hope will soon be realized. Aamiin, YRA. (Bembo)
