He explained, that a lion typically focuses on its target while working. When chasing a target, like a goat, it never lets go until it is captured. And once it has captured its target, the lion will not move on to another target.

“We must continue to present our good behavior as Polri members to the public as servants and protectors. Because we are the frontline figures who shape the great Polri house,” he added.

He also reminded them that while lion-like instincts are highly expected, the personnel of the Ditlantas of the Polda East Java are also asked to never forget to portray themselves as public servants with a sense of crisis. This trait is part of the Polri members’ abilities, which are required to always anticipate, analyze, and respond quickly and effectively to unusual situations, even those outside standard procedures.

“We are public servants who must always be friendly, polite, and courteous. But in a critical situation that threatens public safety, we must also be able to transform quickly as guardians and protectors of the community.
