progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The statement by the General Chair of the Pro-Jokowi (Projo) Central Executive Board (DPP), Budi Arie Setiadi, that he would join the Gerindra Party has drawn a response from the Gerindra Party’s Daily Chair, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad. He said, he hadn’t heard directly about the wish from Budi Arie.
“I haven’t heard it yet. Maybe i’ll hear it later (in the Projo III Congress hall),” Dasco said with a smile at the Projo III Congress at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Saturday, (1/11) yesterday.
He further stated, that he didn’t want to comment further before hearing directly about the wish from Budi Arie.
“I haven’t heard it directly. Once i hear it, i’ll respond immediately,” he added.
According to Dasco, the Gerindra Party has never closed the door to any volunteers who want to join. The Gerindra Party, he continued, is ready to accept aspirations from all parties.
“Yes, if Gerindra is ready to welcome a large influx of support from anywhere. It’s called aspirations, and of course we will consider them for the future,” said Dasco.
For the record, Budi Arie Setiadi, Chairman of the Pro-Jokowi (Projo) Central Executive Board, had previously expressed his desire to join the Gerindra Party.

In his statement, Budi Arie reiterated his determination to always support and strengthen the party led by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
However, when asked when he would join the Gerindra Party, Budi Arie admitted he had not yet given any confirmation.
He admitted that he is currently focused on ensuring the success of the 3rd Projo Central Executive Board Congress, which will also include the re-election of the Chairman for the 2025-2030 term.
“We’ll see how it goes. It hasn’t been decided yet. But i’ve proposed it to the forum,” he explained further. (Bembo)
