the Polri’s efforts to create a pleasant and friendly communication structure for the masses of the Central Executive Board of the Confederation of the Indonesian Trade Union Alliance Congress (KASBI) who are demonstrating,” said Kapolrestro Susatyo during the TWG direction, while simultaneously leading a readiness roll call for security demonstrations in the Parliament Complex.

“We have also prepared a technical and humane appeal to be communicated to the demonstrators on the ground. The goal is to encourage them to exercise restraint and not provoke the masses into unlawful acts,” he added.

“We also demand protection for migrant workers and fisheries workers. We also demand the ratification of ILO Convention 188 and the immediate reduction of prices for basic necessities, fuel, electricity, and toll fees. We also demand the elimination of repression and criminalization of popular movements. We also demand the release of all prisoners, an end to the war, the economic blockade, and genocide, and support for Palestinian independence,” Sunarno explained.
