Polda Metro Jaya’s Propam Provides Briefing on WBS, SP4N–Report, and Hedonistic Lifestyle Ban to 15 Samapta Personnel

The Polda Metro Jaya’s Propam Sector, through the Paminal Sub-Division, held a socialization session on the working mechanisms of the Whistleblowing System (WBS), SP4N-Lapor, and the prohibition of a luxurious (hedonistic) lifestyle for 15 personnel from the Polda Metro Jaya’s Ditbinmas.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA — The Polda Metro Jaya’s Propam Sector through its Internal Affairs Sub-Division, held a briefing on the working mechanisms of the Whistleblowing System (WBS), SP4N–Report, and the prohibition on luxurious (hedonistic) lifestyles to 15 personnel from the Polda Metro Jaya’s Community Development Directorate (Ditbinmas).

The head of the briefing, held on Friday, December 19, 2025, on the 13th floor of the Polda Metro Jaya Promoter Building, was Ipda Rano Fitriansyah, Head of Unit 2 of the Internal Affairs Sub-Division of the Polda Metro Jaya’s Propam Sector.

In his briefing to the participants, Ipda Rano Fitriansyah stated, that the WBS being socialized is an official reporting mechanism or system within an agency, including the Polri, for reporting suspected violations of the law, abuse of authority, unethical acts, or corruption occurring within the internal environment.

 This mechanism aims to create transparency, accountability, and protection for whistleblowers. The system also provides a safe channel for anyone filing a complaint about irregularities. The whistleblower’s identity will be kept confidential to avoid threats and retaliation.

“Through the WBS, members need not hesitate to report suspected violations because the reporter’s confidentiality is guaranteed,” said Ipda Rano reassuringly.

Next came instructions regarding SP4N Lapor. Ipda  Rano explained, that SP4N Lapor is an integrated national public service complaint management system for the public to report complaints, aspirations, and information related to public services in all Indonesian government agencies.

This management system can be utilized through online platforms such as the website (lapor.go.id), mobile app, SMS (1708), and Twitter (@lapor1708). This system’s service model is also faster, more accurate, and more transparent, embodying the philosophy of the no-wrong-door policy.

“Polri members are required to truly understand the process so they can provide accurate information to the public regarding the complaint mechanism. We must appear smart as protectors, guys,” Ipda Rano emphasized.

As the socialization activity drew to a close, he urged all participants from the Polda Metro Jaya’s Ditbinmas to consistently maintain a simple attitude, behavior, and lifestyle in carrying out their daily duties. He also encouraged all participants to play an active role in supporting internal oversight to ensure the enforcement of a professional, integrated, and trusted police force. (Bembo)
