progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA — The operational team of Sub-Directorate 3 of the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Directorate uncovered a clandestine operation distributing psychotropic drugs in South Jakarta. One suspect, a man with the initial J (30), was arrested while guarding a drug store disguised as a plastic goods store in the Jagakarsa area on Sunday, January 18, 2026 evening.

The store, disguised as a plastic goods store, is located on Jalan Mochammad Kahfi II, Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa District. Thousands of pills, including psychotropic drugs, were found in the store, being distributed without a license.

The details are 1.255 tramadol pills, 1.340 heximer pills, 106 calmlet alprazolam 1 mg pills, and 1.694 trihex pills. Also seized were one mobile phone and Rp11 million in cash, strongly suspected to be the proceeds from the sale of the drugs.

The Head of Unit 4 of Sub-Directorate 3 of the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Directorate, AKP Rumangga explained, that this discovery was made possible thanks to information from the public regarding the illegal drug distribution activities in the area.

“We secured one suspect, initial J, and 4.395 pills of dangerous psychotropic drugs without a distribution permit in Jagakarsa,” explained AKP Rumangga on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Currently, the suspect and the evidence of thousands of hard drugs ready for distribution have been secured at the Polda Metro Jaya for further investigation. (Bembo)
