progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The West Jakarta Metro Polres conducted surprise urine tests on its personnel. This measure is a preventative measure, as well as to maintain integrity and ensure that all West Jakarta Metro Polres personnel are free from drug abuse.

In an official statement, Kapolres of the West Jakarta, Kombes Pol Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi, stated, that the urine tests were conducted to determine whether any personnel had committed drug-related violations.

“Today, we conducted surprise checks on personnel. We also previously conducted checks on senior officials. A total of 77 personnel underwent urine tests, and all results were negative for drug abuse,” said Kapolres Twedi enthusiastically on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

He also emphasized, that this activity will continue to be conducted periodically and without prior notice. This is a form of internal oversight and an effort to create a clean and professional work environment. (Bembo)
