He also stated, that, based on predictions, the peak of the homecoming flow is expected to occur in two waves: March 14-15 and March 18-19. Meanwhile, the peak of the return flow is predicted to occur on March 24-25 and March 28-29.

The government, he continued, has prepared a number of traffic regulations for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr period, including restrictions on goods transport, the implementation of one-way traffic, contraflow, and odd-even traffic policies, sea crossing arrangements, and the conversion of vehicle weighing stations into rest areas.

“Therefore, i hope all personnel will adhere to and disseminate information on the implementation of this SKB (Joint Decree), so that it can be understood and implemented properly,” he explained.

Kapolri Listyo Sigit also tasked all police ranks to identify potential public security disturbances, ranging from thuggery and illegal racing to gang fights.

Specifically, he also ordered routine patrols to involve the Pam Swakarsa (Village Security Officers) and to continue to increase their intensity, especially at vulnerable points and during peak hours.
