progresifjaya.co.id, KOTA CIREBON – The Cirebon City (Ciko) Polres Traffic Unit closed several vehicle U-Turn points on main roads within the Cirebon City Police jurisdiction on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. This effort is part of preparations to secure the Eid homecoming traffic ahead of Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026.

The U-Turn closures were implemented at several strategic points frequently used by vehicles to turn around and potentially slow down traffic flow as public mobility increases ahead of Eid.

The Head of the Cirebon City Polres Traffic Unit, AKP Ridwan Sandhi Maulana stated in an official statement, that this effort is part of traffic engineering to maintain smooth vehicle flow during the homecoming security operation.

“U-turns are being closed on several strategic roads. We’re closing them in front of the Makorem exit, the Bima entrance, under the Welcome Monument, the Harjamulya Housing Complex gate, in front of Auto 2000, next to the Aston Hotel entrance, and in front of the Provincial Technical Implementation Unit,” explained AKP Ridwan on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

The closures involve installing concrete barriers to physically restrict vehicles from turning around at these locations.

“We want to reduce the potential for vehicle conflicts at U-turn points, allowing traffic on Cirebon City’s main roads to flow more smoothly and reduce the risk of accidents,” he further explained.
