progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya will deploy 1.810 personnel to secure the Takbiran Night celebrations to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1447 H. The Polda Metro Jaya wants to ensure that the takbiran night celebrations proceed safely, orderly, and conducively.

The 1.810 personnel deployed for the 2026 takbiran night security comprise 1.759 personnel from the Polda Metro Jaya and 51 personnel from the Resort Police (Polres).

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto stated in an official statement, that the 1.810 personnel will be deployed at pre-determined security points. The main focus of security will be the National Monument (Monas), the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout (Bundaran HI), and the Sudirman-Thamrin corridor.

“The personnel deployed will be divided into 100 personnel for Sector A of the Monas, 274 personnel for Sector B of the Monas, 533 personnel for Sector C of the Bundaran HI, and 903 personnel for security, security, and traffic,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi to the media on Friday, March 20, 2026.

“Meanwhile, the focus of security includes Harmoni Toll Road, Jalan Veteran, the United States Embassy, the Medan Merdeka Barat Police Post, the White Tent at Monas, the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout, Dukuh Atas, Kebon Sirih Toll Road, and the Sarinah Toll Road,” he added.

He also stated, that the Polda Metro has prepared traffic engineering and situational security measures in the Monas area, the Bundaran HI, the Sudirman-Thamrin corridor, and other supporting locations. A total of 903 traffic police officers will be on standby to regulate, guard, and manage traffic flow, as well as implement traffic engineering measures according to evolving conditions on the ground.

Furthermore, Kombes Pol Bhudi also appealed to the public to refrain from holding convoys during the night of takbiran, as this could potentially disrupt public order.

According to him, security for the night of Takbiran will be carried out using a preemptive, preventive, and persuasive approach. These measures are taken to ensure the public can continue their activities safely, comfortably, and smoothly, in order to ensure security, safety, order, and smooth traffic flow.

“The Polda Metro Jaya expresses a firm appeal to the public to celebrate the night of takbiran in an orderly, safe, and solemn manner. They must refrain from holding convoys that could disrupt public order.
