progresifjaya.co.id, SURABAYA – The Surabaya City Polres Traffic Unit’s Mobile SIM (Simling) and Cak Bhabin SIM schedules are available at two locations until Saturday, April 4, 2026. Please note, the Simling service is only for driver’s license renewals. At the Cak Bhabin SIM, residents can renew or apply for a new Class C driver’s license.

Operating hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. WIB.

The first location for the Surabaya City Polres Traffic Unit Mobile SIM (Simling) and Cak Bhabin SIM is at the Jambangan Culinary Tourism Center (SWK). Residents within the jurisdiction of the Gayungan, Jambangan, Wonokromo, Sawahan, Sukomanunggal, and Wiyung Police Sectors can apply for and renew their SIMs there.

The second location is at the Sambikerep Lakarsantri District Office. Residents living near the Lakarsantri, Benowo, Tandes, and Pakal Police Stations can utilize the services at these outlets.

But remember, before visiting the Simling and SIM Cak Bhabin service outlet, make sure you are at least 17 years old.

SIM renewal applications are recommended to be submitted seven days before the expiration date. However, if the SIM has already expired, the holder is required to apply for a new one.

The following information is required for renewal and new SIM applicants to bring to the application process:

1. Photocopy of National Identity Card (KTP)
2. Original old SIM (only for renewals)
3. Health and psychological tests are available on-site.

Additional requirements apply for a new Class C SIM at the SIM Cak Bhabin service. Applicants must have a Surabaya ID card and register through the respective Bhabinkamtibmas (community police officer).

The official fee for issuing a Class C SIM is set at Rp120.000, and a Class C SIM is also Rp100.000. Meanwhile, renewal of a Class A driver’s license costs Rp80.000 and a Class C driver’s license costs Rp75.000.
