Strengthening Support for the Asta Cita Program, the Polda Metro Jaya Release Second Phase of Fish Fry in Muara Gembong

progresifjaya.co.id, BEKASI — The Polda Metro Jaya are taking decisive action to strengthen support for President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita Program, which focuses on national food security and public nutrition. Led by Wakapolda of Metro Jaya, Brigjen Pol Dekananto Eko Purwono, the second phase of fish fry release was carried out in the Muara Gembong pond, Bekasi Regency, on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This activity is part of strengthening the Polda Metro Jaya’s SPPG raw material supply chain.
The fish fry release was carried out by Wakapolda of Metro Jaya, Brigjen Pol Dekananto, who was also accompanied by the Kapolres Metro of Bekasi, Kombes Pol Sumarni, the Director of the Polda Metro Jaya Water and Air Police, Kombes Pol Mustofa, the Regional Inspectorate of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Sri Satyatama, and H. Zaini Sidi, the landowner who collaborates with the Polda Metro Jaya for the food security program.
“In this second phase, we are releasing 21.000 tilapia and mujair fish seeds, as well as 16.000 milkfish. The first phase was previously harvested to support the SPPG raw material supply chain,” explained Brigjen Pol Dekananto in his statement.
In addition to fisheries, the Polda Metro Jayavis also developing the agriculture and livestock sectors. A total of 8.000 watermelon seedlings and 100 mango trees were planted, and 1.000 chicken eggs were harvested for distribution to SPPG and the community.
Wakapolda Brigjen Pol Dekananto also previously visited the Palmerah SPPG greenhouse, which is developing a biofloc system and harvested vegetables such as 180 kg of bok choy, 120 kg of mustard greens, and 120 kg of lettuce, as well as tilapia, catfish, and patin fish.

“We will distribute all of these products to SPPG and also help the surrounding community meet their food needs,” he explained.
H. Zaini Sidi, the landowner, also stated that this collaboration is very beneficial because it has a direct impact on the community.
“The initial harvest has already begun, and today is the second phase of seeding. For watermelons, God willing, they can be harvested in 60 to 70 days,” he said.
He added, that in the future, this collaboration will be expanded to include planting watermelons and cucumbers on 4 hectares of land, and corn on 50 hectares in another area.
“This program is very helpful to the community, both in terms of labor and harvest yields. It truly demonstrates the Polri’s support for President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita program,” said H. Zaini Sidi expressing his appreciation.
