progresifjaya.co.id,  JAKARTA – The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) has strongly denied rumors that a group of TNI soldiers visited the Polda Metro Jaya at night. This denial stems from the circulation of a video showing a group of men with crew cut hair and camouflage uniforms carrying weapons approaching the Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters.

In the video, the men in camouflage uniforms are standing in front of the Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters. Some of them are also seen walking within the Polda Metro Jaya headquarters. Several police officers are also seen standing guard at the location.

“It’s not true that the TNI visited the Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters,” emphasized Brigjen TNI Muhammad Nas, Head of the TNI Information Center, when contacted on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

He stated, that the TNI respects the ongoing legal process. Therefore, it is certain that no TNI members visited the Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters.

“That’s highly unlikely. If there’s a case, the TNI would definitely respect the process. Furthermore, if anyone claims to be BAIS personnel, their veracity is questionable,” he reiterated.
