Strengthening Internal Solidarity, Kapolda of West Java Visits Polres of Pangandaran

progresifjaya.co.id. PANGANDARAN – Kapolda of West Java, Irjen Pol Pipit Rismanto, conducted a working visit to the Polres of Pangandaran in Pangandaran Regency on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
This visit was part of the Kapolda’s agenda to directly inspect the condition of police units across West Java and to assess the dynamics of public security and order (kamtibmas) within each jurisdiction.
Upon arrival, the Kapolda was welcomed by the Kapolres of Pangandaran, AKBP Ikrar Potawari, alongside key officials and personnel from the Polres of Pangandaran.
During the visit, the Kapolda engaged with the force and provided directives regarding the execution of police duties, including improving the quality of public services and maintaining public security and order.
In his directives, the Kapolda emphasized the importance of police personnel maintaining a visible presence within the community. He stated, that police officers must be capable of directly understanding the community’s various issues and needs to ensure that the services provided are increasingly responsive and human-centric.
The visit also served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and synergy between the Polda of West Java and the Polres of Pangandaran in addressing the evolving dynamics of public security and order.
His is particularly relevant given Pangandaran Regency’s status as a major tourist destination in West Java. High levels of mobility among residents and tourists necessitate personnel readiness and police services that can adapt to conditions on the ground.
Kapolres of Pangandaran, AKBP Ikrar Potawari affirmed, that his force is ready to implement all directives and policies from leadership to enhance the quality of police services while ensuring the safety and comfort of both the local community and tourists.
Through strengthened coordination, the Polres of Pangandaran remain committed to delivering excellent service to the public and ensuring that Pangandaran Regency stays safe, orderly, and conducive. This series of activities also served to highlight the upcoming Pangandaran Air Show 2026. Attendees included the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, the Head of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), Marsekal Muda TNI Mohammad Syafii, and the Deputy Ministers of Basic and Secondary Education, Atip Latipulhayat and Fajar Riza Ul Haq.
