Parents Delighted Their Children Receive MBG from the Polda Metro Jaya Nutrition Service Unit Because the Menu is Varied and Well-Equipped

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Maryanti, a parent who received the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program in Cengkareng, expressed her delight at the food rations her children received from the Nutrition Service Unit (SPPG) kitchen. She believes the menu is varied and healthy for children.

“The menu provided is quite varied,” said Maryanti in front of the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, Saturday (25/10) yerterday.

She explained, that the menu selection includes everything from animal protein sources to vegetables and fruits. It is very complete and nutritious, including fish, chicken, meat, milk, vegetables, and fruits.

According to Maryanti, the meals distributed are not only nutritious but also served with high hygiene standards. “Everything is served cleanly and hygienically,” she said.

Besides making her children happy, she believes the MBG program has also significantly reduced the burden on parents. They no longer have to worry about preparing daily meals for their children.

The Cengkareng SPPG, under the supervision of the Polda Metro Jaya is recorded as being able to produce 3.800 portions of nutritious food daily. The entire production process is ensured to comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), from inspecting ingredients to food safety checks by medical personnel.

“We ensure the food produced is safe, nutritious, and ready to be packaged and distributed to surrounding schools,” said Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, during a visit to the Cengkareng SPPG kitchen on Friday (24/10).

Kapolda Kang Asep “Sniper” also stated, that this program is expected to provide real benefits to the community.

“Especially to support the growth and development of children into a healthier, stronger, and more prosperous generation,” he added.

As a distinctive feature, the SPPG kitchen is equipped with high sanitation standards and modern equipment, such as RFP and RO water filters, water heaters, food tray dryers, stainless steel filler tanks, and bio tanks for environmentally friendly waste management. Furthermore, each dish undergoes food safety testing before distribution.

As is known, the MBG program is one of President Prabowo Subianto’s priorities to create a healthy, intelligent, and productive generation from an early age. In addition to reducing malnutrition and stunting rates, this program is also designed to stimulate the people’s economy by empowering MSMEs, cooperatives, and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes).
