Polda Metro Jaya Presents Malay Pushcart Orchestra to Entertain and Educate the Public During CFD

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The atmosphere during Car Free Day (CFD) at the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout in Central Jakarta was more lively than usual on Sunday morning (2/10). Street music by the Malay Pushcart Orchestra entertained residents exercising. The familiar music and songs encouraged people to sing and dance along.
What’s more, this event wasn’t just entertainment; it also served as an educational platform for the public through humane communication from the Polda Metro Jaya female police officers. Important messages about safety and order were conveyed in a fun way throughout Car Free Day.
The female police officers mingled with the community along the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout. With friendly smiles, they chatted with visitors exercising or simply enjoying the morning atmosphere. Many even stopped to take photos with them as a token of appreciation for the female police officers on duty.
This simple moment clearly demonstrated the humane nature of the Polri, who are present not only to maintain order but also to foster closeness and camaraderie with the community.

On the sidelines of the event, the Head of the Binorsosmas Section of the Binpolmas Sub-Directorate of the Ditbinmas of the Polda Metro Jaya, AKP Tiora Meilina S, also appealed to the public to maintain security and order during Car Free Day.
“We invite the entire community to work together to maintain security and order during the event. Be aware of crime in the area, and avoid losing items or being pickpocketed,” she said at the location.
AKP Tiora also emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and the safety of children, as well as ensuring that business owners operating in the Car Free Day area remain orderly and adhere to the designated zones. This emphasis was made to ensure that the Car Free Day event remains comfortable for everyone.
“Please supervise children to ensure they don’t get separated. If you lose or leave anything behind, report it immediately to the officer on duty or the Bundaran HI Police Post. Let’s keep our environment clean together by disposing of trash properly. The Polri are here to protect, serve, and serve,” he added.
Policewomen from the Ditlantas of the Polda Metro Jaya also provided educational posters to the public. The posters stated that private vehicles are prohibited from using rotary engines and sirens, that minors are prohibited from driving, and that it is important to obey traffic signs for everyone’s safety.
