progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Over the next two weeks, the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) will conduct Operation Zebra Jaya 2025. The operation will run from November 17th to 30th, 2025, with enforcement techniques using static and mobile ETLE ticketing. This operation will also include technical guidance and education for drivers.

The Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Director, Kombes Pol Komarudin stated in an official statement that, this operation will focus on 40% of preemptive and preventive enforcement, with 20% of enforcement being directed towards ticketing.

“The operation targets behaviors that pose a risk to drivers. Examples include using cell phones while driving, underage drivers, not wearing helmets or seatbelts, being under the influence of alcohol, having incomplete vehicle registration documents (STNK), and license plates that do not comply with regulations,” explained Kombes Pol Komarudin in a press release on Saturday, (15/11).

He added, that during this operation, personnel from the Polda Metro Jaya Ditlantas will implement a hunting system, rather than the usual stationary raids. Personnel will patrol the streets and take action against violators on the spot.

“All points within the Zebra Operation area are using a hunting system. We will then assess the type of violation. Whether a sympathetic warning is sufficient or whether a ticket is required,” Kombes Pol Komarudin stated.
