progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Community Action Roll Call (Potmas) for Jakarta was held by the Polda Metro Jaya at the Precision Field of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate on Wednesday, (19/11). The roll call was led by Metro1, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri.
This roll call served as a significant consolidation momentum between the Polda Metro Jaya and various community organizations (ormas), volunteers, and communities to play an active role in maintaining security and order in the capital.
In his address at the roll call, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ emphasized that the roll call aimed to ensure that all community forces and the Polri were united in maintaining a conducive situation in Jakarta.
“The presence of more than 5.000 members of mass organizations this morning demonstrates a shared commitment that Jakarta’s security is our shared responsibility,” he emphasized.
He also emphasized, the importance of strengthening collaboration between the Polri and the community. According to Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’, this synergy is necessary because the community plays an integral role in maintaining public order and security. Furthermore, various community organizations have demonstrated their active role in helping secure community activities, mediate disputes, and provide assistance during security disturbances.
“The good relationships that have been established must continue to be maintained and strengthened. The Polda Metro Jaya urgently needs the participation of all elements of society to ensure Jakarta remains safe, peaceful, and orderly,” Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ added.
