progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – A total of 2.511 joint personnel will be deployed by the Polda Metro Jaya to provide services and security for the 212 Grand Reunion, which will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd, afternoon and evening. The joint personnel consist of 2.132 Polri, 100 TNI, and 279 Jakarta Regional Government personnel.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto stated, that the deployment of thousands of joint personnel is to ensure the 212 Grand Reunion runs safely, orderly, and smoothly. The Polda Metro Jaya also appealed to all participants and the surrounding community to respect each other, including road users.

Regarding traffic engineering, Kombes Pol Bhudi stated, that traffic diversions will be implemented situationally from 5:00 PM until the event concludes. Several roads in the Monas area, from the Horse Statue to Thamrin, are at risk of creeping traffic jams.

These include Jl. Medan Merdeka Barat, Selatan, Timur, and Utara. Jl. Veteran I-III, Jl. Majapahit on the east side, Jl. Perwira, Jl. Budi Kemuliaan towards the Horse Statue, Jl. MH Thamrin from the Horse Statue Intersection to the Kebon Sirih Intersection, and Jl. Medan Merdeka Selatan from the direction of Tugu Tani or the US Embassy.

“Therefore, we urge the public passing through to plan alternative routes and comply with the instructions of officers on the ground for the safety of all,” he said. (Bembo)
