Kapolda Metro Inspects Security and Services at Ragunan Zoo During New Year’s Holiday
Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri inspects the security situation and services at Ragunan Zoo during the New Year’s holiday season, from 2025 to 2026.
progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri inspected security and services at the Ragunan Zoo in South Jakarta. Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ arrived at the location around 11:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
The inspection began at the security and service post at the main entrance to Ragunan Zoo. Afterward, the Kapolda and his entourage toured the Ragunan Zoo, from the Pelican area to the Tiger enclosure.
During the inspection, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ also took the time to interact and communicate with visitors. One of them was a boy named Ahmad Ali Ramadhan from Panimbang, Banten.
“He said he wants to be a police officer, a general,” Ali’s mother told Kapolda Kang Asep “Sniper.”
“Jenderal Ahmad Ali Ramadhan, yes,” replied Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ as he handed Ali a chocolate snack.
“Yes, thank you, sir,” Ali said cheerfully, grateful for receiving chocolate from a Kapolda Metro.
Besides Ali, several other children also received chocolate and milk cartons from Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’. Meanwhile, the mothers accompanying the children were given electronic money cards as a token of their appreciation.
“For shopping, ma’am. Happy holidays,” said Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ in a friendly tone.
After conducting inspections at Ragunan, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ accompanied by the Head of Operations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol I Ketut Gede Wijatmika, the Director of the Vital Security Agency, Kombes Pol Joko Sulistio, the Director of Traffic, Kombes Pol Komarudin, Kapolres the South Jakarta Metropolitan, Kombes Pol Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, the Head of the Jakarta Forestry and Mineral Resources Agency, M. Fajar Sauri, and the Head of the Ragunan Zoo Management Unit, Endah Rumiyati, continued their tour to Ancol, North Jakarta, to inspect the security situation at tourist attractions during the New Year’s holiday season.
