progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – With a firm and loud voice, the Gerindra Party’s Daily Chair, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, expressed his hope that the Gerindra Party would continue to survive and live a long life,
even a decade or a century. To that end, he urged all cadres to continue engaging with the community and making a real impact on the nation and state through their work activities.
“We, Gerindra, must continue to be close and always take a position among the people. Together, we want Gerindra to live another 1.000 years or another decade or a century,” Sufmi Dasco said loudly in his remarks at the Gerindra Party’s 18th anniversary celebration at the Nusantara IV DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 6, 2026.
He also emphasized that the challenges facing the Gerindra Party will be increasingly difficult going forward, particularly in maintaining its victories and enhancing its achievements.
This senior Libra politician also reminded his cadres about strengthening cadre development. This has become a non-negotiable requirement for Gerindra’s continued existence.
“The success we have achieved so far has not been easy. Going forward, our struggle to maintain our victory and increase our success will certainly be even more challenging. Continuous cadre development is the key to our success,” he emphasized.
The man born on October 7, 1967, who also serves as Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives and a bridge between the Legislative and Executive branches also stated, that Gerindra’s current success is the result of a long and difficult struggle. Therefore, he asked all cadres to continue to remember this and use it as motivation to further their success.
“To all my fellow comrades, both those present here and throughout the country. To those who are still here and those who have passed away, allow me, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party, to express my deepest gratitude for the struggle, sacrifice, and dedication, both from the very beginning and those who have accompanied us until today, 18 years since the founding of the Gerindra Party. Salute and thank you,” Sufmi Dasco concluded his remarks.
The celebration of the 18th anniversary of the Gerindra Party at the Parliament Complex was also attended by the Chairman of the Gerindra Party Faction, Budisatrio Djiwandono, and several leaders of the House of Representatives commissions from the Gerindra Party. Among them were the Chairman of Commission III, Habiburokhman, the Chairman of Commission IV, Siti Hediati Hariyadi, also known as Titiek Soeharto and the Deputy Chair of Commission VII, Rahayu Saraswati.
Also in attendance were several ministers and deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, including Minister of Foreign Affairs and Secretary-General of the Gerindra Party, Sugiono, Minister of Law, Supratman Andi Agtas, Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Irfan Yusuf, and Minister of Housing and Settlement, Maruarar Sirait. Also in attendance were Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, and Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Sudaryono. (Bembo)
