He spent his entire professional playing career with the Boston Celtics. Kevin McHale was also a key pillar of the Boston Celtics dynasty of the 1980s, renowned for his strength and solidity. He helped the Boston Celtics win the Larry O’Brien Trophy as NBA champions in 1981, 1984, and 1986. He was also a seven-time All-Star selection.
The player who wore the number 32 jersey on the Boston Celtics was nicknamed “the Torture Chamber” because of his extraordinary footwork. He was also capable of a wide variety of post moves, making his movements nearly impossible to guard one-on-one.

Kevin McHale played 13 seasons in the NBA for the Boston Celtics. His playing statistics include averages of 17,3 points per game, 7,1 rebounds, and 1,6 blocks. He currently serves as a Club Executive for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
At power forward, Kevin McHale was a key figure in the Boston Celtics’ dynasty of the 1980s. He also played alongside point guard Dennis Johnson, shooting guard Danny Ainge, small forward Larry Bird, and center Robert Parish.
The 1985-1986 NBA championship was the Boston Celtics’ 16th and the third and final title of the 1980s dynasty (1981, 1984, 1986).
In the 1985-1986 NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics defeated the Houston Rockets 4-2 in six games. This result also marked a repeat of the 1980-1981 NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and the Houston Rockets.
