progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya held a commemoration of Nuzulul Quran 1447 H/2026 AD at the Al Kautsar Mosque, Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters, South Jakarta, on Thursday, March 5, 2026. The commemoration, which featured renowned preacher Ustaz Adi Hidayat, was designed to enhance the spirituality and integrity of personnel during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Head of the Organizing Committee and Head of Human Resources at the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Dwita Kumu Wardana, stated in an official statement, that this event was a follow-up to Telegram Letter Number ST/258 of 2026, which instructed all ranks to enliven the month of Ramadhan with positive activities.

“The main goal is to strengthen spiritual and mental development (Binrohtal). We want the noble values of the Quran to not only be recited, but also truly ingrained in the hearts of every member of the police force while on duty in the field,” said Kombes Pol Dwita.

He also emphasized, that this spiritual strengthening is directly correlated with the professionalism of the Polri. With a strong faith, personnel are expected to be able to carry out their function of protecting, serving, and serving the community with full sincerity without compromising integrity.

“This Nuzulul Qur’an is an opportune moment for self-reflection. We want every action of Polri members to be based on the intention of worship, so that service to the community can be more humane and honest,” said Kombes Pol Dwita.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Chief of the Polda Metro Jaya, Brigjen Pol Dekananto Eko Purwono, accompanied by the Main Officials (PJU), Bhayangkari administrators, and thousands of personnel from various work units.
