
Official release of the body of AKBP Angga Harya Kusuma for burial at the Krapyak Family Cemetery, Krapyak Kulon Hamlet, Panggungharjo, Sewon, Bantul, Central Java.

One of its best officers, AKBP Angga Harya Kusuma, who served as Head of Sub-Bagprobit Bagpensat Ropenmas of the Polri Public Relations Division, passed away at the age of 42 at Mayapada Hospital, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, due to illness on Monday, March 23, 2026.
His body was returned to Jalan Parangtritis km 6,5, Jurug Hamlet, Bangunharjo, Sewon, Bantul, and was buried with honors on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
The deceased was a Polri officer from the Bhakti Satria Battalion of the Police Academy (Akpol) in 2007. He was the eldest son of the late Kombes Pol (Ret.) Drs. H. Suharsono, widely known as the Regent of Bantul for the 2016-2021 period, is survived by a wife and a child.
A police funeral service was held at the funeral home yesterday. Kapolres of Bantul, AKBP Bayu Puji Hariyanto, served as the ceremony inspector.
After the ceremony, the body was taken to its final resting place at the Krapyak Family Cemetery in Krapyak Kulon Hamlet, Panggungharjo, Sewon, Bantul, at 2:00 PM WIB under tight security and a gun salute.
Kapolres of Bantul, AKBP Bayu Puji Hariyanto, who was also a classmate of the deceased, expressed his deep sense of loss at the passing of AKBP Angga Harya Kusuma.
“We, the Polri, especially the Bantul Polres, express our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. AKBP Angga was a highly dedicated figure with an excellent track record during his time on duty,” said Kapolres AKBP Bayu Puji Hariyanto on the sidelines of the ceremony.
The late AKBP Angga was known as an experienced officer in the fields of investigation and operations. He first served as Head of Sub-unit III, Sub-Directorate IV, Directorate of Drug Crimes, Criminal Investigation Unit, Bareskrim Polri. He also served as Kapolsek of the Panjang Harbor, Polresta of Bandar Lampung, Polda of the Lampung, before finally serving in the Polri Public Relations Division.
