To strengthen the solidarity and synergy between the TNI and the Polri, the Polda Metro Jaya and the Kodam Jaya held a joint sports event at the West Plaza of Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Senayan (GBK), Central Jakarta.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – To strengthen the synergy and solidarity between the TNI and Polri in maintaining security and stability in the capital, Polda Metro Jaya and Kodam Jaya held a joint exercise at the West Plaza of Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

In addition to strengthening synergy, this joint exercise also served as part of personnel physical training. Amidst Jakarta’s high mobility, personnel physical fitness is considered a crucial factor in supporting the execution of duties in the field.

The event was attended by Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri and Pangdam Jaya, Letjen TNI Deddy Suryadi, as well as senior officials from both institutions.

The Director of Traffic of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Komarudin, also stated in a statement, that the purpose of this event was to maintain personnel’s stamina and ensure peak performance.

“Amidst the dense activity of Jakarta’s citizens, the Polda Metro Jaya and the Kodam Jaya are always ready to anticipate various dynamics to ensure that all activities run safely, orderly, and smoothly. This preparedness must of course be supported by good physical condition,” said Kombes Pol Komarudin.

Meanwhile, the Assistant for Operations of the Kasdam Jaya, Brigjen TNI M. Iswan Nusi, also described this activity as a forum to strengthen the bond between TNI and Polri personnel.

“This activity is very positive. In addition to maintaining fitness amidst busy work schedules, it also strengthens TNI-Polri cooperation to optimize the implementation of duties to the community,” he said.

Most importantly, through this joint sports activity, the Polda Metro Jaya and Kodam Jaya have also reaffirmed their commitment to continuously improving preparedness and synergy to create a safe and conducive situation in Jakarta.
