The Polres of KP3 Narcotics Unit Discovers Unlicensed Distribution of List G Drugs, Arrests Seller

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polres of Tanjung Priok Narcotics Unit (Port Security Enforcement Unit/KP3) has successfully stopped the distribution of unlicensed List G dangerous drugs in the Tanjung Priok area of North Jakarta. In this effort, a suspect suspected of being the seller was arrested.
This case arose from information received from the public on Thursday, April 30, 2026, who suspected the distribution of dangerous drugs in and around Tanjung Priok.
Following up on the report, the Narcotics Unit Operational Team then conducted surveillance in several areas, including the Rawa Badak, Tugu Utara, and Kebon Bawang sub-districts of Tanjung Priok.
Finally, officers discovered a cosmetics store called Toko Bahari located on Jalan Bakti Raya, Kebon Bawang, Tanjung Priok. Hundreds of dangerous drugs sold without a permit were recovered from this location.
The dangerous drugs found included 272 Excimer pills, 209 Tramadol pills, 121 Trihexyphenidyl pills, and 121 Alprazolam pills and similar drugs. Non-narcotic evidence was also seized, including a cell phone and Rp1.500.000 in cash.
The suspect arrested was identified as AW (27), a man from North Aceh, suspected of selling the drugs.
The Head of the Polres of KP3 Narcotics Unit, AKP Habibie, emphasized in a statement, that his unit will continue to increase surveillance and take action against the distribution of dangerous drugs that do not comply with their intended use and legal provisions.
“This disclosure demonstrates the Polri’s commitment to eradicating the distribution of illegal drugs that can endanger the public,” he emphasized.
