This position rotation was outlined in Telegram Letter Number: ST/960/KEP./2026, dated May 7, 2026, signed by the Assistant Kapolri for Human Resources (As SDM Kapolri), Irjen Pol Anwar.

In his statement, the Head of the Polri Public Relations Division, Irjen Pol Johnny Eddizon Isir stated, that job transfers and rotations are a natural part of the Polri organization. The transfer and rotation processes are part of career development and organizational revitalization.

In this wave of job rotations, the Director of Traffic at the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Komarudin, has been promoted to the new position of Head of the Bureau of Professional Supervision and Development (Karowabrof) Propam Division of the Polri. The position of Traffic Director at the Polda Metro Jaya will be filled by Kombes Pol Firman Darmansyah, who previously served as Director of Traffic at the Polda of North Sumatera.

In addition, the Kapolres Metro of Depok, Kombes Pol Abdul Waras, has also been rotated to the new position of Head of the State Police School (SPN) Polda Metro Jaya. He is replaced by Kombes Pol Christian Rony Putra, who previously served as Director of Drug Investigation at the Polda of West Sulawesi.
