progresifjaya.co.id, DEPOK – Between April and May 18, 2026, the Polres Metro of Depok Narcotics Unit successfully arrested 41 people selling illegal drug items from 28 different locations in Depok City. A total of 12.314 drug items were also seized as evidence.
The Head of the Polres Metro of Depok Narcotics Unit, Kompol Yefta Aruan stated in a statement, that the Polres Metro of Depok is committed to suppressing the distribution of illegal drugs without a distribution permit and without a doctor’s prescription.
“The Polres Metro of Depok Narcotics Unit is committed to continuing to suppress and eradicate the distribution of Schedule G drugs in the Depok City area. We will take firm action against perpetrators who trade these drugs illegally,” said Kompol Yefta on Monday, May 18, 2026.
He also explained, that the closure of this case is part of the Polres Metro of Depok’s efforts to maintain public order and security while protecting the younger generation from the abuse of dangerous drugs.
In addition to legal action, the Polres Metro of Depok Narcotics Unit is also intensifying preventative measures through outreach and education to the public regarding the dangers of Schedule G drug abuse.
The public is strongly urged to actively participate by providing information if they suspect any drug or illicit drug trafficking activity in their neighborhood.
“Report immediately to the nearest police station or contact the Polri Call Center at 110. We will follow up on any information received from the public,” stated Kompol Yefta Aruan.
