progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Banten-based club Dewa United FC has signed defensive midfielder Ripal Wahyudi from Semen Padang. Ripal Wahyudi becomes the sixth player recruited by the Banten Warriors to compete in the 2026/2027 Indonesia Super League season.

Upon his presentation to the media, the Garut-born player, October 10, 2000 pledged to give his absolute best whenever he takes the field.

“Regarding personal targets, whenever i am given the chance to play, i will treat every match like a final. I will strive to deliver my best performance and help the team secure points in every game,” said Ripal, as quoted by the official I.League website on Monday, August 10, 2026.

Ripal’s commitment to performing at his peak goes beyond personal ambition, he is also dedicated to bringing positive momentum to his new club.

His move to Dewa United FC is expected to provide a significant boost to his professional career while simultaneously lifting the team’s performance in the league standings.

“I hope this season will be a better journey—both for me personally and for Dewa United as a team,” Ripal said.

Last season, Ripal was part of the Semen Padang squad. However, his 30 appearances and single goal were not enough to keep Kabau Sirah in the top flight.

Ripal Wahyudi is Dewa United FC’s sixth signing, following the arrival of one local player and four foreign players.

The local player is Muhammad Riyandi, a goalkeeper who spent four years with Persis Solo. Persis Solo was relegated last season and is competing in the second tier this season.

Meanwhile, the four foreign players signed by Dewa United FC are Denilson Junior, Carlos Iury, and Jean Mangaberia from Brazil, along with South Korean player Ko Myeong-seok. (Bembo)
