He emphasized that robust coordination and consistent law enforcement are essential for ensuring that anti-crime initiatives function optimally.

“We welcome this meeting. The synergy between the TNI and the Polri is crucial for eradicating drug trafficking, illegal mining, and other transnational crimes that could disrupt public order and security. Addressing such offenses requires strong coordination and consistent law enforcement measures,” stated Edi, who is also a postgraduate lecturer and served as a member of the Kompolnas from 2012 to 2016.

He expressed hope, that the synergy between the TNI and the Polri would extend beyond mere coordination and manifest in concrete actions on the ground.

Firm enforcement in accordance with the law, coupled with sustained coordination, is considered vital for curbing criminal activities that harm both the public and the nation.

“This nation will grow stronger if the Polri and the TNI work together in a unified manner to eradicate drug-related crimes, illegal mining, and other transnational offenses, in accordance with their respective mandates,” asserted the Chairman of the Indonesian Association of Law and Criminology Lecturers (ADIHGI).
