progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA — The Kapolda Metro Jaya, Komjen Pol Dadang Hartanto, held a gathering with the supporter group The Jakmania to strengthen ties and foster communication in support of a safe and orderly football environment. The meeting took place in the hall on the second floor of the Promoter Building at the Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

Kapolda Dadang stated, that The Jakmania plays a vital role—not only as a supporter group for Persija Jakarta but also as a segment of the community capable of contributing to the maintenance of public security and order.

“Jakarta serves as a barometer, and The Jakmania represents the people of Jakarta. It is truly remarkable to see the police and The Jakmania working together to uphold public security and order,” said Kapolda Dadang.

Furthermore, Kapolda Dadang expressed his hope that The Jakmania could serve as a model for fostering a culture of sportsmanship and responsibility in football. He emphasized that sportsmanship is a core value that every supporter should uphold, both inside and outside the stadium.

During the meeting, Kapolda Dadang also encouraged The Jakmania to maintain ongoing communication with the police, including exploring various positive initiatives that can be developed collaboratively.

“I hope our friendship continues to grow stronger and that the relationship between the police and the community keeps improving. Let us remain lifelong friends. The police and The Jakmania are stronger together—the police, hand-in-hand with the community,” said Kapolda Dadang.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations for the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, also urged all supporters to consistently uphold sportsmanship and maintain order for the benefit and comfort of everyone.
