Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri led the handover ceremony for three senior officials (PJU) of the Polda Metro Jaya in the lobby of the Polda Metro Jaya Promoter Building.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Three high-ranking officers (PJU) of the Polda Metro Jaya, namely the Head of the General Planning and Budget Bureau (Kaorena), the Director of Special Crimes Investigation, and the Director of Cybersecurity, were handed over their positions on Monday, April 6, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. The handover ceremony was led by Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, in the lobby of the Polda Metro Jaya Promoter Building.

In his remarks at the handover ceremony, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ stated, that job rotation is part of organizational dynamics and an effort to strengthen the institution’s performance amidst increasingly complex challenges.

“Service never stops; it just changes places. What has been done is an important part of the organization’s journey,” said Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’.

The Kapolda also expressed his deep appreciation for the former officers, who he considered to have provided a tangible contribution and a strong foundation for the Polda Metro Jaya. He continued, saying that these achievements are crucial for maintaining the organization’s sustainable performance.

Meanwhile, the Kapolda also gave a firm message to new officials to adapt quickly and demonstrate their best performance. He also reminded them that every personnel who has served at the Polda Metro Jaya will always be given attention throughout their careers.

“Everyone who leaves the Polda Metro Jaya will definitely be assessed for their quality. So, demonstrate your best performance,” he emphasized.

The Kapolda also emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity, solidarity, and loyalty in carrying out their duties. Therefore, he asked all ranks to continue providing the best service to the public to maintain a safe and conducive public order and security situation.

During the handover ceremony, the position of Head of the General Planning and Budget Bureau (Karorena) was handed over from Brigjen Pol I Bagus Rai Elryanto to Kombes Pol Teguh Tri Sasongko. The position of Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Polda Metro Jaya was then handed over from Brigjen Pol Edy Suranta Sitepu to Kombes Pol Dr. Victor Dean Mackbon.

Furthermore, the position of Director of Cybersecurity at the Polda Metro Jaya was also handed over from Brigjen Pol Roberto G.M. Pasaribu to Kombes Pol R. Bagoes Wibisono. All these changes are expected to further strengthen the unit’s performance and increase the effectiveness of police duties within the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction. (Bembo)
