Director of Lemkapi, Edi Saputra Hasibuan, presents the Precision Award to the Kakorlantas Polri, Irjen Pol Agus Suryonugroho.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Head of the Polri Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas), Irjen Pol Agus Suryonugroho, received the Presisi Award from the Indonesian Police Strategic Studies Institute (Lemkapi) at the Polri Center (NTMC) on Monday, April 6.

The award was given to the Kakorlantas Polri for his loyalty and performance in improving service, protection, and public care during the 2026 Eid homecoming and return journeys.

As reported on korlantas.polri.go.id, the Executive Director of Lemkapi, Edi Saputra Hasibuan, acknowledged the Kakorlantas highly effective role as the spearhead of security for Operation Ketupat 2026.

“I, Edi Saputra Hasibuan, Executive Director of the Indonesian National Police Strategic Studies Institute (Lemkapi), express my appreciation to the Kakorlantas for spearheading security for Operation Ketupat 2026, which took place yesterday,” said Edi.

He stated, that the Polri’s success in securing the homecoming and return journeys received a positive response from the public, reaching 94.3%. This is based on research conducted by Lemkapi. This success was achieved through various innovations and traffic engineering implemented by the Korlantas Polri. This includes the national one-way system on Java, where this engineering pattern is a crucial factor in the smooth flow of traffic flow this year.

“Thank you to the performance of all Polri personnel across Indonesia. We know they have made many breakthroughs. Many traffic engineering efforts have been implemented, including the implementation of the one-way system on Java Island nationwide. I think this is very important for the implementation of the annual homecoming program,” said the former National Police Commission (Kompolnas) commissioner from 2012 to 2016.

However, he hopes this achievement will not make the Polri complacent. He said the Korlantas Polri must continue to improve the quality of service to the public.

Furthermore, Edi Saputra Hasibuan also expressed his appreciation to Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo and all his staff for successfully managing the smooth flow of traffic flow for the public.

“I also express my gratitude to the Kapolri for managing the return flow of homecoming travelers so well that people can truly experience comfort during their return journey. How can people meet their families, rejoice with their families, and enjoy excellent traffic flow,” He praised. (Bembo)
