progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polri has made a significant breakthrough. A service called the Police Report (LP) and Lost Report is now available on the Polri Super App. The public can now file reports and report lost documents online, eliminating the need to visit a police station.
The Polri also introduced the Police Report Consultation Engine service. This service is an integrated system that allows the public to consult online and in real time. Consultations are conducted via video conference and live chat.
The launch of this digital service is being implemented in stages, starting with the Polda Metro Jaya, the Polda of West Java, and the Polda of Banten. The online LP and online lost report services can be accessed on the Polri Super App, which is available on the App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android).
“Digitalization of services is not only focused on the use of technology, but is also part of improving the performance management system and work culture of the Polri to be more modern and integrated,” said Wakapolri, Komjen Pol Dedi Prasetyo, while attending the service launch at the 2026 Polri ICT Committee Coordination Meeting at the Ballroom of the Mercure Hotel, Ancol, North Jakarta, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
He also emphasized, that public services must be procedural, effective, efficient, and information technology-based, supported by modern facilities and infrastructure.
The Wakapolri further emphasized three main focuses for future policy direction. First, digitalization of police services, then optimization of law enforcement through a restorative justice approach, and finally, improving the quality of clean, transparent, and anti-corruption public services.
“Through this innovation, the public no longer needs to come directly to the police station to file a report. Simply use your device. Services can be accessed anytime, anywhere, practically and efficiently,” Wakapolri Dedi added.
