
progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Indonesia Development Monitoring (IDM) released the results of a survey regarding the performance and level of public trust in the Polri. The survey was conducted from April 7–20, 2026, with 1,580 respondents in 34 provinces using a multistage random sampling method.
IDM Executive Director Dedi Rohman stated, that the level of public trust in the Polri based on the IDM survey results was 79,2 percent. This figure is considered to indicate a trend of restoring public trust in the Polri institution.
“The results of this Polri performance survey also have a strong correlation with public satisfaction with President Prabowo Subianto’s administration,” Dedi Rohman said some time ago.
The survey results also showed that 52,3 percent of respondents were aware of the Polri’s role in the food security program initiated by President Prabowo Subianto. Meanwhile, 78,7 percent of respondents appreciated the Polri’s involvement in the program.
Furthermore, 83,8 percent of respondents also expressed their appreciation for the Polri’s involvement in the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, particularly through monitoring food quality and distribution through the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG).
“The Polri are considered successful in enhancing their humanitarian image through monitoring food quality (food security) and orderly distribution, particularly through the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG),” said Dedi Rohman.
Furthermore, the Indonesian Food and Drug Monitoring (IDM) also recorded that 88,7 percent of respondents felt safe walking outside at night. Meanwhile, satisfaction with the Polri’s public services reached 81,2 percent, law enforcement at 75,1 percent, and internal oversight at 76,7 percent.
In the same survey, 80,7 percent of respondents expressed satisfaction with the performance of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration, particularly regarding the food security program, MBG, fuel and food availability, and national security.
The survey, Dedi said, has a 95 percent confidence level with a margin of error of around 2,47 percent. The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with respondents.
