Polda Metro Jaya’s 3P Patrol Team Arrests 3 Delinquent Youths in Cideng, Seizes One Sickle

The 3P Team of the Polda Metro Jaya conducts patrols in the area to anticipate 3C crimes and potential public order disturbances.
progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya Precision Pioneer Patrol Team (3P) arrested three delinquent youths suspected of being involved in street crime in the Cideng Barat area of Central Jakarta, early Saturday morning, May 23, 2026. A sickle and a motorcycle were also seized during the raid.
The three delinquent youths identified as D, A, and I are strongly suspected of being involved in potential muggings and other street crimes. They were taken to the Polsek Metro of Gambir for further questioning.
The patrol by the Polda Metro Jaya’s 3P Team, which successfully apprehended the three youths, was a tactical measure to prevent the 3C crimes of theft, robbery, and motorcycle theft, as well as other disturbances to public order and security.
A patrol from the Polda Metro Jaya’s Directorate of Samapta (Ditsamapta) began to monitor the Sudirman-Thamrin area around 12:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
From 1:37 a.m. to 3:41 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), the patrol entered the Cideng area and encountered three young men behaving suspiciously.
The Director of Ditsamapta of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Wahyu Dwi Ariwibowo stated, that night and early morning patrols are being stepped up to prevent potential street crime. He also emphasized that the police presence on the ground is part of both preventative measures and law enforcement.
“These patrols are being conducted to provide a sense of security to the public, especially during peak hours. The police are here to prevent street crime and respond quickly to any potential disturbances to public order and security,” said Kombes Pol Wahyu.
He also urged the public to immediately report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
“We urge the public to participate in maintaining public order and security. If you see any potential security disturbances, report them immediately to the nearest police station so they can be dealt with quickly and professionally,” said Kombes Pol Wahyu.
