progresifjaya.co.id, PEGUNUNGAN BINTANG – A joint patrol by the local police and the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force visited Modusit Village, Serambakon District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Using a humanistic, persuasive, and cultural approach, the patrol focused on dialogue, health services, and the distribution of clothing to the local community as a demonstration of the officers’ concern for residents in the remote area.
This activity involved 15 personnel led by Iptu Budi Utomo, the Pegunungan Bintang Sector Commander. The officers’ presence among the Modusit Village residents also demonstrates the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force’s commitment to building harmonious and familial relationships with the Papuan people.
While interacting with the residents, a dialogic approach with interactive communication was immediately established to strengthen ties. During this activity, officers also provided health services to residents in need and distributed clothing to the community as a form of social care and concern.
The officers’ humane, humble, and dialogical presence earned the appreciation of the residents of Modusit Village. A friendly atmosphere was evident as personnel interacted humanely with residents, listening to their concerns and providing public order and security advice. This approach was designed as part of an effort to build trust and create a sense of security within the community.

In addition to carrying out social activities, joint personnel also monitored the security situation in Oksibil City and Serambakon District to anticipate potential disturbances to public order and security. By the end of the patrol, no suspicious activity was observed that could potentially disrupt regional security and stability. Community activities continued as usual, remaining safe, under control, and conducive.
Separately, the Head of the Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation, Irjen Pol Faizal Ramadhani stated, that a humane approach would continue to be a priority in carrying out his duties in Papua. According to Inspector General Faizal, the presence of officers among the community is not only to maintain security and stability, but also to build emotional closeness and provide a sense of security for residents.
“Through dialogue patrols and social activities such as health services and the distribution of aid to the community, we want to demonstrate that the officers are also friends and partners with the community in maintaining peace in Papua,” said Irjen Pol Faizal Ramadhani.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of the Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation, Kombes Pol Adarma Sinaga added, that dialogue patrols and social activities are also strategic steps to strengthen communication between officers and the community in the Papua Highlands region.
“A humanistic approach through dialogue patrols is an important part of creating a safe and conducive public order and security situation. By establishing good communication, the community can directly feel the presence of officers as protectors and partners in maintaining peace in Papua,” said Kombes Pol Adarma Sinaga.
The Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force has, for the umpteenth time, demonstrated its commitment to always prioritizing a persuasive and humanistic approach to maintaining security and stability in Papua. Always present to assist the community with social services and community activities directly in the field. Always striving to be a savior, guardian, and entertainer for the community was lit.
