Kevin Diks Brilliantly Leads Gladbach to a 4-0 Victory Over St. Pauli, Earning 7,8 Rating

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Indonesian national team midfielder Kevin Diks played brilliantly and skillfully as he led Borussia Mönchengladbach to a 0-4 victory over St. Pauli in their 9th Bundesliga away match at the Millerntor Stadium in St. Pauli, Hamburg, Germany, on Saturday, (1/11) evening WIB.

In this match, the home team, St. Pauli, had actually tried to play aggressively from the start with a 3-4-1-2 formation. However, striker Haris Tabakovic’s shot from winger Florian Neuhaus’ pass in the 15th minute was enough to beat St. Pauli’s goal, guarded by Nicola Vasilj.

This decisive victory also felt crucial for Gladbach. It was Die Fohlen’s first win in nine Bundesliga matches this season.

Gladbach currently sits in 16th place in the Bundesliga standings with six points from one win, three draws, and five losses.

Meanwhile, St. Pauli is one point above Gladbach with seven points from nine matches.

Kevin Diks played the full match, forming a defensive trio with Nico Evendi and Philipp Sander. According to Fotmob, Diks made eight clearances, two blocks, and two interceptions.

He also won four aerial duels. Diks won four of his five aerial duels. He didn’t stand out in attack, only delivering one key pass into St. Pauli’s final third.
