The Polres of Indramayu Traffic Unit Satpas conducts traffic awareness training for driver’s license applicants prior to the implementation of Operation Patuh Lodaya 2026.
progresifjaya.co.id, INDRAMAYU – The Polres of Indramayu Traffic Unit is actively promoting driving compliance among driver’s license (SIM) applicants in Indramayu Regency. This outreach, led by the Indramayu Police’s Driver’s License Administration Unit (Satpas), coincides with the implementation of Operation Patuh Lodaya 2026, which will run for 14 days, from June 8-21, 2026.
This outreach is being provided by the Polres of Indramayu Traffic Unit in the hope that the Indramayu community will be disciplined and understand traffic regulations while driving. Furthermore, awareness campaigns are being provided so that the public can stay away from the targets of the operation to avoid trouble.

Non-commissioned Officer for SIM Affairs (Baur SIM) Polres of Indramayu Traffic Uni Satpas, Aiptu A. Kholik stated in a statement, that the Polres of Indramayu Satpas provided driver’s license (SIM) applicants with information about Operation Patuh Lodaya 2026 to ensure they drive responsibly and avoid violations targeted by the operation.
“There are 14 targeted violations in Operation Patuh Lodaya 2026. We are communicating these to driver’s license applicants to prevent violations, such as not wearing helmets, exceeding the permitted number of passengers, going against the flow of traffic, or using license plates that do not comply with regulations,” explained Aiptu A. Kholik on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
SIM applicants were also reminded to drive responsibly and were prohibited from modifying their vehicles in violation of regulations. They were also given an understanding of traffic regulations to comply with to ensure the smooth flow of traffic (Kamseltibcarlantas) in Indramayu.

“Another target in Operation Lodaya 2026 is to prohibit the use of noisy or brong exhausts. We also convey this target in the outreach program to encourage them to avoid and not adopt it,” said Aiptu Kholik.
Historically, to facilitate easier understanding and comprehension, the outreach program conducted by the Polres of Indramayu Satpas for driver’s license applicants also linked the Babad Wiralodra story to the story. In the story, Raden Wiralodra, who undertook a long and challenging journey, always obeyed the instructions (wangsit) until he succeeded in developing the region.
This spirit of obedience to the rules, patience during the journey, and respect for the direction of elders or leaders was then adapted and reflected in the outreach program. Driver’s license applicants were encouraged to use the essence of this story as a foundation for complying with current traffic signs and laws.
