progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Polda Metro Jaya have deployed 630 joint personnel to secure several events at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex in Jakarta, starting tonight. These include the EXO Planet concert and Yellow Run 2026.

Polda Metro Jaya Public Relations Chief, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, stated in a statement on Saturday, June 6, 2026, that due to several public activities in and around the GBK area this weekend, Polda Metro Jaya along with the Polres Metro of Central Jakarta, Polres Metro of South Jakarta and other relevant agencies, are preparing security measures at several activity points.

He added, that 265 personnel will be on duty to secure the EXO Planet concert.  Then, 65 personnel will be deployed for the 2026 Polytron Indonesia Open Badminton event, and another 300 personnel will be deployed for the 2026 Yellow Run.

“Personnel will also be deployed at the start-finish area, runners’ routes, traffic control points, and the area around GBK,” he said.

Security will be provided at the event location, venue entrances and exits, parking areas, event routes, and roads prone to congestion. Officers will also be prepared to regulate, guard, and manage traffic flow situationally, depending on developments on the ground.

“We urge the public planning activities in the GBK area to arrive early, heed information and instructions from officers, use public transportation whenever possible, and refrain from carrying dangerous or prohibited items,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi.

“The public is also asked to remain orderly, safeguard their belongings, and work together to maintain a safe, comfortable, and conducive environment. If they need police assistance, they can contact the nearest officer or the Polri Call Center at 110,” he added.
