Kapolda Metro Jaya and Pangdam Jaya Hold Jaga Jakarta On The Spot in Krukut Village

Kapolda Metro Jaya, Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, and Jakarta Military Commander, Lieutenant General Deddy Suryadi, conducted Jaga Jakarta On The Spot activities at two locations in Krukut Village, Tamansari District, West Jakarta.
progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Kapolda Metro Jaya, Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, along with Jakarta Metropolitan Military Commander (Pangdam Jaya), Letnan Jenderal Deddy Suryadi, also conducted Jaga Jakarta On The Spot activities. The Kapolda Metro Jaya and the Pangdam Jaya held dialogues to gather resident’s input at two locations in Krukut Village, Tamansari District, West Jakarta.
At the first location, the Jakarta Kapolda Metro Jaya and the Pangdam Jaya visited Cafe Junet on Jalan Keutamaan Dalam, RT 06 RW 03, Krukut Village. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the two engaged in dialogue with the RW 03 Head, the RT Heads, and local residents regarding the public order and security situation, strengthening the neighborhood security unit (Satkamling), the role of Bhabinkamtibmas (community police officers) and Babinsa (village supervisory officers), and the existence of the Anti-Brawl Monitoring Post.
On this occasion, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ appealed to residents to continue maintaining environmental security, avoiding drug abuse, and immediately reporting any information or incidents to the authorities through the Bhabinkamtibmas (community police officers) and Babinsa (village police officers).
“Environmental security cannot rely solely on the authorities. The active role of the community, neighborhood leaders, Bhabinkamtibmas, and Babinsa is also very important to prevent any potential disturbances early on,” said Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
The event then moved to Go Pilan Shop, Jalan Ketapang Utara I, RW 07, Krukut Village. There, Regional Police Chief Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ and the Pangdam Jaya again opened a dialogue with community leaders and residents regarding the public order and economic activities of the surrounding community.
Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ stated, that the Jaga Jakarta On The Spot activity demonstrates the direct presence of security forces within the community. This activity also served as a means to gather input and strengthen communication between residents, the police, and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).
“We want to hear directly about the community’s needs and complaints. Every input will inform our follow-up actions, including coordination with relevant stakeholders,” he said.
The Polda Metro Jaya, continued by Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’, also ensured that all input received from the public would be evaluated for further action. Specifically regarding street lighting and damaged roads, the Polda Metro Jaya will coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution within their respective jurisdictions.
During this activity, the Kapolda Metro Jaya and the Pangdam Jaya also distributed basic food packages to local residents. The series of Jaga Jakarta On The Spot activities proceeded safely, orderly, smoothly, and conducively.
Also accompanying the activity were the Director of Traffic Police of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Komarudin, the Director of Intelligence and Security of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Miko Indrayana; and the Assistant for Intelligence of the Jakarta Military Command (Kodam Jaya), Brigjen TNI Sri Marantika Beruh.
At the same time, similar activities were simultaneously carried out by the High-Level Commanding Officers (PJU), the Kapolres, and the Military District Commanders (Dandim) throughout the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction.
