The Polda Metro Traffic Directorate Closes 10 Roads Traveled by the German President’s Entourage

The Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate will close 10 roads along the route of the entourage of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate will close several roads that will be used by the entourage of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, tomorrow, Monday, June 15, 2026. President Steinmeier is scheduled to meet with President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace.
Traffic engineering road closures will begin at 8:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. Temporary traffic control and traffic control will also be in place on several main roads in Jakarta as a sign of respect.
According to a photo shared by the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate, at least 10 roads in Jakarta will be closed. The majority of the closed roads are protocol roads.

2. MT. Haryono
3. Gatot Subroto Street
4. Asia Afrika Street
5. Sudirman-Thamrin Street
6. Medan Merdeka Barat Street
7. Garrison Dalam Street
8. Prof. Satrio Street
9. Medan Merdeka Utara Street
10. Perwira Street
The Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Director, Kombes Pol Komarudin confirmed that the road closure is only temporary. The traffic management is situational and will be in effect while Steinmeier’s convoy passes. After that, the road will be reopened.
“The road closure will only be in place when the convoy of state guests passes,” wrote the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate.
For your information, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is scheduled to make a state visit to Indonesia on Monday. This visit will be his first meeting with President Prabowo Subianto since he officially took office as President of Indonesia.
The German Embassy stated that this visit affirms its commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with Indonesia across various sectors, from the economy and investment to clean energy and digitalization.
