progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Head of the Polri Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas Polri), Irjen Pol Wibowo stated, that traffic security, safety, order, and smooth flow (kamseltibcarlantas) can only be achieved through synergy and collaboration from all stakeholders.

Traffic issues, he continued, are a shared responsibility that cannot be resolved by the traffic function alone.

Irjen Pol Wibowo conveyed this publicly in his directive to the Korlantas Polri and Traffic Directors (Dirlantas) throughout Indonesia at the NTMC Building of the Korlantas Polri, Jakarta, on Monday, July 6, 2026.

In emphasizing his directive, he also emphasized the importance of building strong cooperation with local governments, relevant agencies, civil society, and the public as road users.

“We can’t work alone. Talking about traffic means talking about the whole. There are roles for relevant stakeholders, local governments, civil society, and even the community itself,” he reminded.

He also assessed, that successful traffic management is the result of collaboration between all parties. Therefore, every achievement in the traffic sector must be viewed as a collective success, not solely the success of the Traffic Police institution.

“Traffic success is not due to our own success. Traffic success is the success of all of us. That’s the tagline i want to convey to all of you. It’s all because of us. Remember that,” he emphasized.

Furthermore, Irjen Pol Wibowo also instructed all ranks to strengthen coordination and communication with stakeholders in their respective regions. He also reminded them to avoid miscommunication, as it can hinder the implementation of their duties in the field.

He also stated, that effective communication and solid coordination will be the main foundation for achieving optimal traffic services that meet the needs of the community.

“Intensive coordination and continuous synergy with stakeholders in each region are essential. I don’t want to hear of any misunderstanding between the traffic department and stakeholders. As long as communication is good and coordination is good, i’m sure the results will also be positive,” he emphasized.

Concluding his directive, Irjen Pol Wibowo urged all Traffic Corps personnel to continue upholding the institution’s honor with professional, sincere, and integrity-based performance. He also reminded each member to avoid all forms of violations to strengthen public trust in the Traffic Police.

“Let’s work together to uphold the dignity of the Traffic Police. Let’s work together to change the image of the Traffic Police by working as well as possible and sincerely. Abandon all violations, no matter how small, in any form,” he concluded.
