Bomb 3, Explode 2

Sela, a grade 11 student at SMAN 72, who was interviewed by several media crews, explained that security forces also found long-barreled weapons during the search during the explosion. Regarding the bombs that exploded, she said three homemade bombs were found, but only two exploded.

*I suspect the bombs were brought into the school by a student who was being bullied by another student, also a senior. I suspect this student wanted revenge and committed suicide,” Sela explained.

“I also saw all three types of homemade bombs brought in. But none of them exploded. Only two were actually ngejeger,” he added.

According to him, the bomb exploded as the imam was concluding his sermon and about to continue with the iqamah (prayer). Luckily, he was in the mosque hallway and was safe from the blast.

“But my clothes got dirty from helping my friend,” he emphasized. (Bembo)
