progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Dewa United FC midfielder Ivar Jenner is reportedly being eyed by Dutch Eredivisie club NEC Nijmegen. Last season, NEC Nijmegen finished third in the Dutch Eredivisie, qualifying for the third qualifying round of the following season’s UEFA Champions League.
Jenner’s impressive performances for the Indonesian national team have attracted the attention of the European club. In addition to interest from NEC Nijmegen, rumors of a move for the Utrecht-born footballer have also come from local clubs Persija Jakarta and Bali United, who are interested in signing him.
Jenner’s football career began at the IJFC academy from 2010 to 2014, before finally progressing through the Ajax academy and settling at FC Utrecht in 2016. After signing a professional contract in May 2021 and extending it in August 2023, he was promoted to the FC Utrecht senior team for the 2025–2026 season. His contract with the Dutch club was terminated on February 2, 2026, and he moved to Dewa United FC on loan.
At the international level, the 185 cm tall footballer officially obtained an Indonesian passport through naturalization in 2023. His international career at the senior level began with his debut against Palestine on June 14, 2023, and he played against Argentina a few days later. In addition to his active work on the pitch, the player, whose maternal lineage stems from his grandmother in Jember, is also busy with various activities outside of football, including starring in several advertisements for well-known brands.
At Dewa United FC, Jenner made 14 appearances and provided one assist.
Jenner’s personal life also attracted public attention after a video uploaded by the Instagram account @rumormedia.id on July 31, 2026, showed her at a shopping center with Baila Fauri, a member of the band No Na.
“Oh, you caught me,” wrote Baila’s friend, Jennifer Coppen.
