progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Polda Metro Jaya and Kodam Jaya held a joint health outreach event as part of the 2026 National Assembly (Apel Kebangsaan) at the Monas (National Monument) grounds in Central Jakarta on Saturday, August 8, 2026. A total of 148 joint medical personnel were deployed, comprising 120 medical and paramedical staff from the Polda Metro Jaya Medical and Health Division (Biddokkes) and 28 personnel from the Kodam Jaya Medical Corps (Kesdam Jaya).
The Head of Biddokkes Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Dr. M. Faizal Zulkarnaen stated, that this health outreach initiative represents a synergy between Polda Metro Jaya and Kodam Jaya to provide direct services to the public.
“We have mobilized medical and paramedical personnel to provide optimal health services to the community, ranging from examinations to treatments tailored to individual needs,” he said.
During the event, 1.876 people received health services. This included 700 people receiving general medical treatment, 23 receiving specialist care, 42 undergoing dental treatment, 936 receiving reading glasses, 162 undergoing laboratory tests, and 13 receiving physiotherapy services.
Conditions treated during the general medical sessions included hypertension, diabetes mellitus, acute respiratory infections (ISPA), the common cold, hypercholesterolemia, myalgia, gout, gastritis, and dermatitis.
In addition to direct health services, Biddokkes Polda Metro Jaya and Kesdam Jaya deployed field medical teams and liaison teams at several referral hospitals to ensure medical support and safety throughout the event.
The entire health outreach program conducted by Kodam Jaya and Polda Metro Jaya proceeded safely and smoothly, serving as a tangible manifestation of public service and the close synergy between the two institutions for the benefit of the community. (Bembo)
