progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Kapolres Metro of West Jakarta, Kombes Pol Nasriadi, marked a special occasion following the leadership roll call at the Polres Metro of West Jakarta headquarters’ parade ground on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

After the assembly—attended by 360 personnel—Kombes Pol Nasriadi surprised the female police officers (Polwan) to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Women’s Police Corps.

Kombes Pol Nasriadi and his staff conducted a ceremonial cutting of tumpeng (conical yellow rice) and a birthday cake. Portions of the tumpeng were then presented to the female officer representatives in attendance.

The presentation of the tumpeng and cake served as a gesture of appreciation for their dedication and service in carrying out their duties as members of the Polri.

In his statement, Kombes Pol Nasriadi noted, that female officers play a vital role in supporting police operations, particularly in delivering people-oriented, humane service to the community.

“Happy 78th Anniversary to the Women’s Police Corps. Thank you for the dedication, loyalty, and service you have demonstrated in your duties. Continue to be professional, humane officers who remain close to the community,” said Kombes Pol Nasriadi.

According to him, the anniversary commemoration is more than just an annual ceremony, it serves as a reminder for all female officers to strengthen their spirit of service and provide the best possible care to the public.

Kombes Pol Nasriadi expressed hope, that the sense of togetherness and unity among all Polres Metro of West Jakarta personnel would grow stronger. With such solidarity maintained, police operations—specifically in providing protection, guidance, and service to the community—are expected to become even more effective.
