The induction took place during a ceremony led by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Marsekal TNI Mohamad Tonny Harjono, at the Korpasgat Headquarters in Bandung, West Java, on Monday, October 26, 2026.

During the same event, Korpasgat personnel also showcased their special operations capabilities through an Airborne Raid demonstration. The demonstration showcased various operational phases, ranging from infiltration—utilizing wingsuits and free-fall techniques—to the deployment of paramotors, paratrikes, and drone technology in support of military operations.
During the simulation, personnel demonstrated the use of both surveillance and kamikaze (loitering munition) drones, followed by an assault executed with tactical vehicles. The sequence concluded with an exfiltration maneuver using an Airborne Tactical Extraction Platform, facilitated by an NAS-332 Super Puma helicopter.
