progresifjaya.co.id, MAJALENGKA – In an effort to enhance public awareness and compliance with traffic regulations, the Traffic Unit (Satlantas) of the Polres Majalengka, Polda of West Java conducted an outreach campaign for Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 via a talk show on Radio Radika 99.8 FM in Majalengka on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

The session was led by the Head of the Traffic Safety and Security Unit (Kamsel) of the Polres Majalengka, Ipda Haris, accompanied by several unit members. This radio-based outreach serves as an educational initiative designed to reach a broad audience, conveying essential traffic safety messages in a communicative and easily understood manner.

During the talk show, the officers emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic laws, ensuring all vehicle documentation is in order, using SNI-standard (Indonesian National Standard) helmets for motorcyclists, wearing seatbelts for car drivers, and verifying that vehicles are in roadworthy condition.

Furthermore, the public was urged to prioritize safety while on the road, maintain focus, and refrain from using mobile phones while driving. The officers also reminded the public not to drive under the influence of alcohol and to strictly follow all traffic signs and road markings.

Ipda Haris and his team encouraged the public to embrace traffic discipline as a necessity and a cultural norm in daily life—rather than merely as a response to police enforcement operations.

By utilizing radio as a medium for this outreach, the Majalengka Police aim to expand the reach of information regarding Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026.
