progresifjaya.co.id, BEKASI – A somber atmosphere filled with emotion enveloped the funeral home of the late Brigjen Pol Posthumous Ary Satriyan at the Molek Raya Housing Complex, Pondok Gede, Bekasi City, West Java. The funeral ceremony was held by the Polri on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 3:50 PM WIB, as a final tribute to the deceased’s dedication and devotion during his time on duty.

The solemn ceremony was led by the Kapolda East Java, Irjen Pol Nanang Avianto, as the Ceremony Inspector. The Kapolsek Pondok Gede, Kompol Bambang Sugiharto, served as the Ceremony Commander.

Brigjen Pol Posthumous Ary Satriyan previously served as the Inspector of Supervision for the Polda East Java. His passing earned him a posthumous promotion from Chief Commissioner of Police (Kombes Pol) to Police Brigadier General. This posthumous promotion was awarded for the deceased’s immeasurable service to the Polri until the end of his life.

Following the funeral service, at 4:30 PM WIB, the body was taken to the Pondok Kelapa Public Cemetery (TPU), Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. The burial ceremony also included a Polri funeral service.

The funeral was attended by the Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo; the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, the senior officials (PJU) of the Polri Headquarters, the PJU Polda East Java, the Kapolres’s and ranks of the Polda East Java, the Bekasi City Metropolitan Kapolres, Kombes Pol Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro and his staff, and the deceased’s classmates from the Wira Pratama Battalion, Akpol 1997.

The presence of these high-ranking Polri officers also reflected the Polri’s appreciation for the deceased’s integrity and loyalty to the nation and state during his lifetime.

As is known, during his tenure, the deceased served as Pandeglang Kapolres. He was subsequently transferred to the Polda Gorontalo to become Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation. After being promoted to Kombes Pol, he held positions as Director of Narcotics Investigation of the Polda Yogyakarta, then Director of Criminal Investigation of the Polda Bali , Head of Sub-Directorate III of the Directorate of General Crimes at the Bareskrim Polri, and finally became Regional Supervision i
